Compared to Day After Tomorrow this was Citizen Kane. On it's own it's too long with not enough meat. 2012 by name only, it had nothing to do with that date. No folklore, no destiny, just a silly sun burst that microwaves the Earth's core. Such a waste. Planets line up and random sunburst is best they come up with?
