Under the B-Movie shell of this film was a strange story full of metaphors for human behavior that I found fascinating. Topics covered like childhood, parenthood, sexuality, marriage, infidelity, incest, rape, & our inability to escape our instincts. Splice may be too weird for most folks (like everyone in my theater) but I liked it, despite it's cheese.

Much like the film that the characters are based from, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, this film is very funny, but somehow lacks something more. It was definitely the best Jonah Hill performance I've seen and I laughed a lot, but compared to movies like Knocked Up or 40 Year-Old Virgin, this one just doesn't have the magic touch.

It feels like there's been a billion Shrek movies, and I'm shocked I even saw this one. This movie was fun, had good songs, but it was the guy that played Rumpelstiltskin that made this movie great. I've not loved a villain this much ever. I'll watch it again, just for him.

I liked this better than the first movie, however it was still awful as far as movies go. I hate to say it but the show jumped the shark when it became movies. My expectations were so low for this I actually enjoyed it. Maybe in the next one they can go into space or travel through time!

For some reason I wanted to see this. In the end I guess I learned that a documentary without narration is really just B-roll... and just not that interesting. Great cinematography and super cute babies though.

For a superhero movie sequel it was really good. I liked the first better, but I was glad this one didn't over-do the bad guys like the Spiderman sequels. My only complaint is you'd think when discovering a new element one would at least stop to name it.

I found it strange how cool everyone was with characters losing limbs, but then again, they are vikings... The film's viewpoints on war were intriguing and the movie was brilliantly animated, but I was kind of bored the whole time, even in 3D.

While I liked the points they make I found myself groaning a lot. I love Jude Law so at least I was entertained and the alt view of the world was interesting to me. It illustrates in an extreme way how far corporations are willing to go when no one's regulating them. Too cheesy and contrived for me and the ending was predictable.

I liked that it was a mix of the Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass stories. I did not like how it was at times poking fun at itself. I miss the Tim Burton that took every film seriously. Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a masterpiece compared to this lame kid's film. This felt like a paycheck for everyone involved.

Superb acting and creative direction made it a fun movie. And I think I actually learned something. I know very little about history so it was some nice edu-tainment!
